All-round finance employee

We are immediately looking for an all-round Finance employee for our head office in Tilburg.
MOL Logistics (Netherlands) B.V. is part of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd, a leading listed global player in transport and logistics. In 1919 the foundations of our current organisation were laid in Tilburg. From three offices in the Netherlands we cooperate intensively with our colleagues worldwide. We have reliable knowledge of sea freight, air freight, warehousing, road transport, rail transport, customs regulations, fiscal activities and solutions for chain logistics. Typical of our way of working are our customer focus, the level of our professional and proactive service and our integrated approach to supply chain logistics.
Your role as Finance Officer
As an all-round Finance employee you are part of an experienced team that consists of 8 colleagues. You are multifunctional and jointly responsible for the daily affairs of our financial administration. You will also contribute to the liquidity prognosis and ensure that foreign currencies are managed. You are a sparring partner for various internal departments (including those for our locations in Rotterdam and Amsterdam) and take care of various periodic analyses. Each year, you are the contact person for the annual audit and internal coordination of this. As a team player you are able to independently take responsibility for your own work and you contribute to periodic internal and external reports, for which you also monitor the deadlines that apply.
Your profile
- You have at least 5 years of recent experience in a financial function
- You have a demonstrable completed MBO diploma, in a relevant training direction
- You like to work all-round and you get excited about improving processes
- You do not mince words and are strong in your shoes
- You like to contribute to the setup and refinement of the new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- You get excited when you help building a future-proof financial department
- You are proficient in working with Excel
- You are proactive and able to distinguish between main and minor issues
- You have good communication skills, are accurate and take responsibility
